Some Quick Weekend Car Tips from Autorama

Spring has arrived and before we can even blink, summer will too be upon us. It's that time of year for DIY repairs in order to keep your car running like new. Here are the most beneficial repairs that you can perform at home.
Starting off, you'll want to rust-proof your vehicle. Even if you store it in a garage, the salt on y our underbody along with the cold weather is terrible for your car. Buy a jack, lift up your car and scrub the underbody; finish it off with some rustproofing solution.

Next up you should check your tires for treadlife - it's best to tackle these types of issues sooner than later.
Next is the air conditioner. You may not need it yet, but you'll be happy knowing it works once the warmer weather hits.
Next, make sure all essential fluids are topped off including oil, brake, steering and wiper fluid.
Lastly, give it a good wash!
If you have any questions, or want to take a look at our collection of used car, stop in to Autorama located at 1205 Finch Ave W in Toronto, ON today and we'd be happy to assist you in any way we can.

Don't Soil Your Ride! Use These Planting Tips from Autorama

Soil2

There's nothing like getting ready for gardening season. Whether you're a flower and plant person who maintains a lovely display in your yard, or you grow your own food to enjoy, we all need the same supplies. Soil, fertilizer, you name it. For all the love and care we put in to our gardens, Autorama is pretty certain nobody likes the mess some of these materials can make in our vehicles. That's why we have three tips to keep your ride clean.
One is a catch-all solution: WeatherTech floor liners. They keep the dirt, plus all other grime that might get tracked in to your vehicle off the carpeting inside, and can be easily washed and left in at all times.
Another includes using a tarp. You put a clean one down in your vehicle's truck, load up the soil bags and everything else, so that if anything does make a mess, you can fold at the edges, and easily remove it from your car without hassle.
Finally, one way that's efficient for keeping the car clean, and loading and unloading is the use of a large plastic storage bin. Place the items in the bin, so you have your items confined to a single space. Then, when you get home all you have to do is lift the bin out of the trunk, clean it out, and you're good to go.
Hopefully, these tips were helpful to you. We strive to keep those in the Toronto area informed of DIY tips and used car news, so follow our blog today.
And with that said, happy gardening!
